When it comes to wooing a woman with words, it takes more than just shouting a compliment at her. You must choose your words AND timing correctly. Sometimes a simple, "you're beautiful" in the right moment hits just right. And other times you need to be more poetic. As a woman, the most memorable thing a guy has said to me was simply my name. But it was delivered at the most perfect time with such sincerity that it felt like I saw stars when he said it. It wasn't even in a romantic way. I was suffering from a broken heart, and a friendly acquaintance came up to me, asked what was wrong, so I told him. He looked at me confused, so I asked, "what?"
